The "N" Family
We wouldn’t change a thing. After three miscarriages and losing a child through adoption at the last minute, we finally met our little bundle of joy —Judah. We are so blessed. It’s amazing to think how God knew all along that He would entrust Judah to us. At the time, we had no idea what the future held; and looking back now, we can see that every hardship had a purpose. It was incredibly hard; but even in the pain, God’s plan was unfolding, and He brought us our son.
If you are going through a difficult season, please don’t give up. There is always light, and light always defeats darkness. Hold onto hope, trust, and faith —because even when it feels impossible, God is holding onto you.
Judah’s sweetness and love remind us of how God sees us: perfectly loved unconditionally. No matter what you’ve done or are going through, it’s never too late to come back to the light and let God transform your life. We are living proof that miracles happen, and our hearts are full every single day because of Judah.
We are beyond grateful for Lori Horst and Ray Godwin and their incredible team. From start to finish, they were by our side every step of the way—always available, always supportive, no matter the time of day. Their care, guidance, and dedication made what could have been a stressful process feel manageable and even joyful. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again when we decide to grow our family through adoption.
