Your plans for child care Arrangements: We are teachers, as a result we have ample time during holiday breaks, and the summer to devote to dual parenting. If Jason acquires a school administrator position, Diane will be a stay at home mom, and not return to teaching. If Diane continues in her teaching role, both parents will stay home for twelve weeks using FMLA, and hire a nanny for child care during work hours only.
Activities enjoyed together: We enjoy any activity that we can do together as a family. We love to watch movies, play sports, travel, cook, read, and spend time with our family, and friends. We are also very involved with our local school events where we teach. We enjoy hiking, outdoor activities including fishing, and going to the beach for picnics.
Your Birth Mother Letter
Thank you so much for considering our profile. We cannot imagine the emotions you are experiencing, but our thoughts, and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Your choice of life for your baby shows such incredible love and courage. As you make this decision, we pray that God will guide you to the right family, and give you comfort and peace in your decision. We want you to know that even though we have not met you, we are praying for you and your baby. We met after college in 2005, and were married three years later in August of 2008. We are currently looking forward to celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary. We have a close relationship with each other, and enjoy every moment together. We love to watch movies, travel, cook, read, and spend time with our family, and friends. We are also very involved with our local school events where we teach. We live in a beautiful and family-friendly neighborhood in coastal South Carolina. We are close to parks, beaches, and numerous historic opportunities. Our neighborhood has a community swimming pool, playground area, and several friendly young families, which will provide for numerous playdate opportunities, and neighborhood barbeques. Our fenced in back yard is ideal for playing hide and seek, and exploring. We have several bedrooms, and ample space to grow our family. Our downstairs contains a large office, which will be converted into to a spacious child's playroom. We consider ourselves very blessed to have such a warm, loving extended family. We have nieces, and nephews who have provided us with great training, and are very involved in our lives. In addition, we have graduate degrees in early childhood education, and have spent our lives working with, and educating children through our work in daycare, as nannies, and school teachers. Both of our parents are looking forward to adding more grandchildren to the family. Our extended family loves to get together often and celebrate holidays, and family trips together. They are also excited to meet the new addition to our family. Thank you so much for considering us to be adoptive parents for your child. If you choose us as parents, we promise to love your child as our own. We promise to raise your child in a home filled with God, love, education, support, and stability. As we anxiously await the new addition to our family, we pray for you and the child you are carrying. We pray for strength and comfort for you, and we pray that God will grant you peace in the decision you make.
