Your Birth Mother Letter:
Dear Birth Mother,
We want to thank you for your courage and selflessness as you move forward with an adoption plan and select a family for your baby. We hope you will develop a peace in your heart that you are doing what is best for your baby.
We are Jim and Janie, and we have been married for 20 years. We have a love for children, which is what led us both into the field of elementary education. We enjoy trips to the beach, viewing the changing leaves in the fall, baking cookies and popping popcorn to have with a movie or game night, but most of all we just enjoy being together. We also enjoy learning about different cultures and participating in mission projects. We have had the privilege to adopt our son from Russia and our daughter from China. The exposure to these cultures led us to living in Seoul, South Korea for four years.
We believe we would make good parents for your baby. We value diversity and respect cultural differences. This is something that we feel makes our family special. We have learned that having the same genetics and blood running through our veins in not what makes us a family.
We want to thank you for making this brave decision for your baby. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We wish you the best as you move forward in your adoption plan.
Jim and Janie
