RAYMOND W. GODWIN: Our firm is a caring, kind, knowledgeable, and a professional group of staff and attorneys who assist birth mothers and adoptive couples in their adoption journey. My wife and I have adopted personally. We have gone down the path of adoption. And we know the emotions and the concerns that confront adoptive couples. We know what the concerns are in terms of what birth mothers are feeling.

JULIE M. RAU: There are a lot of myths surrounding adoption, one of which is that there aren't children available for adoption. And that's just simply not true. There are many birth mothers in a situation where they feel that adoption is the best option for their child. Another myth is that it takes a long time to adopt. And again, that's not true. Our clients generally are able to adopt within a year. In addition to knowing the law of adoption and knowing what steps to take to finalize and adoption, this firm genuinely cares about your family and wants to see a successful placement.

RAYMOND W. GODWIN: Firm's been handling adoption since 1993. During that timeframe, we have handled over 2,000 adoptions. There are a wide range of issues that are in any adoption matter. We in particular at this firm focus on assisting a birth mother find the right couple for her. We believe it's very important that she's comfortable with the couple that will be the parents to her child for years to come. We also focus on the adoptive couple and lead them through the adoption journey with its maze of confusion and concern.
